dear sir, kpsc will prepare a cut off chart on category & merit basis, but one candidate having a 280 marks actually who is come SC category, Kannada medium, but who will come sc category or general category?...... because already in 2008 supreme court insist to kpsc. first take category then lastly consider for general quota..............help me.

Frnds, many out here are misleading in all ways be it cut-off be it key answers Frnds Jinnah 14 Point is right it includes delhi proposals(1927) seperation of NWF and baluch and the calcutta amendment is what 14 points is so option all the above is right answer, and coming to bullet proof material polycarbonates are used in making of bulletproof glass, shields and even jackets it is used for making carbon nano tubes which is used to make bulletproof jackets

I herd KPSC Chairman was on leave untill yesterday and resuming work from today, dont know if it is true, if that is the in the next 2 days revised answer keys should be out, also my friend who is a section officer in kpsc says the Cut off For GM - 230 and GM - Women 206. If that is the case then 3A, 3B should be 220-225, 2A,2B- 210-220, and so on.

This time paper was set such that only upsc candidates should clear the exam. The kpsc is famous always for partiality. My score is 218 GM candidate. Not sure i will clear this time. Anyway Best of luck guys..

there wont be any grace marks .... they will revise the key answers and upload it on the website and you will get marks according to that. Grace marks are only awarded if the question itself is wrong or if all the optionals printed in the paper are incorrect.

nobody knows wat is the cut off... every1 can only speculate that x is the cut off or y is the cut off... be patient till the kpsc announces the result nxt month... average score of those i have talked until now is 230. but there are many who have scored higher that that. so its very difficult for any1 to predict the cut off sitting in their house. if u ask some1 who has scored 200 then he wud tell the cut off will be 190 for his own satisfaction but that might be wrong or correct. if u think u have done exceptionally well in prelims then dont bother about the cut off just go ahead and prepare for mains.. if u have any doubts abt ur performance then better chill out with ur friends, watch some movies and take it easy!!

y hasnt anyone mentioned wrong options in karnataka electricity act 2008 where correct option is itself is not mentioned....
the correct answer is section 11 which is not given in the options
There are quite a few questions which you cannot find them on books nor on any sites. So it becomes difficult to guess out answers unders such circumstances. One should not bias people by giving false information and by misleading. Some people on this site are just commenting for fun about the cutoff marks. Please take a chill pill and wait for KPSC to announce the revised answer sheets. You can know your score and then when cutoff is announced you will know whether you are in the court or out of the game. Its that simple. Even if you would have done 99% hardwork the 1% luck decides.

Don't take tension it's final cut off would be release on 22.06.2012, but superem court already insist & questioning to kpsc for releasing 1998 batch Cut off Marks for Gazzetted Probatationary exams, previous year they have not decleared cut off marks hence this year also we don't have hope for this.......for kind information to all

yes, as per supreme guidelance, first they will considered category then general category will take for cut off, as per supreme court judgement - 2008, if you know about cut off how to made this one tell me.

This is for all candidates info, kpsc staff's never disclose any cutoff marks or marks details , they just tell we don't know , wait and see etc.
so the cutoff marks provided by some candidates is just the guess of their own , and it is not a authentic cutoff.

some one scored more thn 310 and some ppl scored 160 to 215.
until KPSC finalize and put the list.
take self decision and start working on Mains
again for main all coaching centres advise you to take subjects from those subjects you will get good marks kind of advise.
coaching center advice such subjects for those they have tood tutor.
dont beleive such matters, be your own and start preparing

Earlier = 365 x 20 = 7300 candts.
Current = 362 x 20 = 7240 candts.
as per KPSC authentic source GM will be 210 cut off, category will comes 170 cut off.

I am SC, Kannada medium category i opted for mains 1, Kannada, 2,RD yes ur wright hope for better, because compare to 1999, 2004, 2006 , 2008, 2010 kas question paper this 2011 paper is very tough and candidates r not scored more than 270 so required 7300 candidates easily it may get through from Prelims those who are in GM & above 190 score / category 170 & above may start their preparation for mains it's my suggestion on based this blog information

Cut off will be not more than 190 for general merit just wait and see only 57,000 has written exam out of these only 3500 ppl have crossed 200 + so one who has scored above 170 start preparing for mains and all the best don't waste your times

looks many aspirants are worked hard and shoing intrest in KAS.

I am sure that many sadists are posting unrealistic cut offs. Those suckers simply creating hype and giving tension to genuine aspirants. Whats problem if they start studying? Cut off should not be more that 210. Dont worry guyz start preperation..

According to my institute (Himalai) cut-off for GM ll be around 210 with +-5 marks.
Its just an estimate, lets not waste any more time speculating for this qualifying exam and conc. on MAINS.

i am sick of these cutoff predictions now, stop this nonsense bickering, and worry about mains, if you are prepared for mains atleast chances are you might get through next time in prelims if you have not got through this time,
PS : Dont believe or read into what these institutes predict on cutoffs, they are not soothsayers and dont have augural capacities instead they have become quacks, some of the institutes are business centres playing with sincere aspirants time and effort. Just believe in your honest preparation and leave the rest to the Public Commission to say.
u r right everyone knows that cut off will not come below 300 even knowing this reality many candidates r saying 190,200,210 etc and few coaching institutes to get more admissions to make money saying low cut off.

Dear Ramyashri, now you are also predicting i am saying we dont have access to data and system to analyse, leave that to commission to decide for cut off, although i would be certainly delighted if such would be the case of high cut off so that quality of administrators will come in and chaffs/weed will be let off,

To be an able administrator, you should trust yourself. Be able to make independent decisions. Decision making ability is a very important ingredient to take up leadership roles.
If you think you deserve to be a KAS officer than never ask anybody if you need to start preparing for mains. No matter what the results are going to be, you still add value to your self which can never be lost for life.

i have got 174 after revised key answer and i am in SC, General,Kannda medium category, already i started my preparation for mains, but till now i am in dilemma / confusing, i can't sleep properly every day, please any one suggest me, shall i eligible for mains or not for this category & marks
this time 190 is the last score for gm cat and other sc,st,obc may 170 cat according to candidates & revised key answer some cddts got more marks & lost their marks also, as per all over karnataka only 2400 caddts available in 200 & above marks, this evaluation on the based revised key answer lets us wait some times for final eligible list
Yes u r wright because after revised key answer may be only 2000 candidates have scored above 200 and cut off may come for gm 190 and other category 170 to 190.
on what basis u say this cut of will be atleast 250 for GM how it vl be below 200 or 200 highly impossible..
Hi friends..after revised key m getting 242..i got only two marks bonus despite getting grace for two questions..:( this is my first attempt..I belong to 2A category...hopeful of getting through to the mains(Anthro & RD)...I would like to know how much time would we get to prepare for mains after results are announced?
